Welcome From The RMS PTA
Welcome everyone to the 2017-18 school year! We're looking forward to a productive and exciting year!
We do many things throughout the year to support the students, the school, the teachers and the community:
- We provide funding for meaningful student programs including author visits, speakers, and dances.
- We support our teachers with classroom volunteers, teacher appreciation, and support for special projects.
- Annual day of service, funds for things such as the maker space in the library, and funds for other items or activities, as requested by the school.
- The RMS PTA also supports the community by administrating the Robious Student Volunteer Program (RSVP), which is the service hours program, allowing the children to be acknowledged for the many hours that they serve the community.
- At the end of the 2016-2017 year, we gifted the school with funds to provide teachers with training from the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities.
What can you do?
- Join the RMS PTA Today
We strive for 100% membership and can only do that with your help. This shows our students and staff that we support them. - Donate to the Raider Fund
We do this instead of selling things or having other fundraisers. - Register your Kroger Card
This is a painless way for our PTA to raise funds. The Kroger Community Rewards Program donates based on your purchases at Kroger. - Keep saving those box tops
We know you were used to saving them and turning them in at the elementary school level. We collect them at the middle school, too! - Volunteer
We can always use volunteers. If you see an email from the PTA, take a moment to see if your time or skills fit with our volunteer needs at that time. The PTA is what our parents make of it. We need your support to continue to make Robious Middle School GREAT!
